Free Demo (wip) of my first game Shmup Survivors: Invasion of Galarzak's Army.
Inspired by old and new, Galaga deluxe on amiga, and vampire survivors.
This demo contains the endless mode, in which the game gets harder as you level. I have personally made it to level 15(currently a bit grindy after that, missions will fix). All of which is more of a tech demo to make sure the engine can handle mid to end game. I have much more planned.
Not complete, and still has bugs to be found.
V4 - Ship Select - sept 29 2023
-Added 18 ships you can choose from, each have unique stats that effect game play. They are grouped into sets of 3, that share the same weapon, then sub grouped into small med large.
-Bug fixes - updated graphics - updated ui, updated ui nav.
-android and linux builds released.
Controls:
Setup for xbox controller, or generic gamepad 6+ buttons, however keyboard also works.
Dpad - arrow keys to move, or left analog for more precision movement.
Xbox A = Activate ability Slot 1, Key z, joy button also works for submit on menus
Xbox B = Activate ability Slot 2, Key x
Xbox X = Activate ability Slot 3, Key c
Xbox Y = Activate ability Slot 4, Key v -unused till I add more abilities
Xbox RB + <- , -> = boost ability (button 5) - also used for boost overdrive attack
Xbox start (joy button 7) = in game pause menu = key esc
Main weapon auto fires. Dodge enemy attacks, and Collect everything except the hail of enemy bullets :
Drops:
-Gold coins, planned for shop in the hub level.
-Extra bullet
- Attack Speed up, after max, get extra bullets.
- Shield+ Health
-AEnergy +25 energy up to max.
-Green move speed up, Orange move speed down.
Avoid the rest.
Abilities:
On level up - 4 currently, this is just the test framework for more, many more planned.
Boost Attack, overdrives the booster to flare out and incinerate anything in its wake, level up increases its size. Only useful when enemies are attacking in the lower half of the screen. boost is 30 AE energy cost, no extra cost when using this ability. It will auto fire when you boost.
Drunk Missile - 3 per level 1 damage missiles are launched and randomly wonder about with no sense of direction. 15 Ability energy energy cost.
Dumb Missile - 2 per level 1 damage straight fire, each level adds 2 more in a wide spread pattern. 10 Ability energy cost.
Bullet time - level up increases how long it lasts. 50 Ability energy cost.

Install instructions
Tested on win 10, exit through menu, or alt + f4. Screen options should work but untested.
Linux version untested. A test is planned.
Android version works with a gamepad, or built in controller like the Retroid Pocket etc.
